What is tomato paste and how is it made?
Specially prepared tomato and pepper paste, which is added to give flavor and color to dishes, is a kind of sauce made from tomatoes and peppers for some dishes, usually meat dishes.
It is obtained by crushing vegetables grown in summer months, such as tomatoes and red peppers, in various ways, extracting their water, and then boiling the resulting water. It is a food product produced for the purpose of using vegetables, which are more abundant and delicious in summer, in winter. To make tomato paste, make sure that the tomatoes you choose are fresh and firm.
History of Tomato Paste:
The first tomato canning factory was established in Ohio in 1860, and widespread production and consumption began in homes and factories from 1912 onwards. In the early 1920s, a sieve system was developed and tomato paste was made by concentrating tomato juice under vacuum while tomato juice was released to markets.
